our story
Hey there, I’m Sadie. I’m the artist and creator behind Golden Beam Co. - a creative studio based in Granville, Ohio.
As a former kindergarten teacher turned stay-at-home mama, Golden Beam Co. started as a love for thoughtful handwritten notes, doodling and lettering. It’s also my creative outlet outside of wife and mama to three boys.
I aspire daily to be more sustainable with small changes. I’m an avid card sender, but it always bothered me that half of a card felt wasted. So I created sustainable stationery - more joy, less waste!
You’ll often find me sneaking in time to create during diaper changes, preschool drop offs, and lots of help from an amazing babysitter. If I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me trying to keep up with my boys, spending time outside, or binging some reality tv.
how it works
You buy a folded card and envelope to give.
Your recipient tears along the perforated seam to transform the back of the folded card into a pre-stamped postcard.
Your recipient passes on the postcard while spreading more joy.
